Pastor Michael Harris was appointed by God to serve as the Senior Pastor of Christian Believers Church. With over 21 years of dedicated ministry, he remains passionate about preaching the Gospel and pastoring God’s people with clarity, compassion, and conviction.

His calling has taken him around the world, ministering in diverse communities and sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Pastor Michael is affiliated with the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), Virginia Second Jurisdiction, and he faithfully upholds its mission to win souls for Christ and strengthen believers through the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Known for his Christ-centered leadership and compassionate heart, Pastor Michael inspires, teaches, and shepherds believers—equipping them to grow deeper in faith and to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

He is especially gifted in strong preaching, leadership development, and counseling. Pastor Michael has expressed a deep desire to lead a church like Christian Believers—one that embraces biblical truth, serves the community, and passionately connects people to the body of Christ. He takes worship and preaching seriously, devoting the early hours of each day to prayer and Bible study.

A gifted and anointed organist for over 50 years, Pastor Michael often draws spiritual strength and inspiration from music. One of his most cherished hymns is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” a song that reflects his unwavering trust in God’s provision and grace throughout life’s journey.

Pastor Michael also has a special heart for families. In his personal time, he enjoys relaxing at the beach and fine dining with his own family, cherishing those moments of joy and connection
